Udyam registration is the official, free online registration for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in India, done on the Udyam Registration portal using Aadhaar, with PAN and GST details pulled from government records. A business is classified by investment in plant and machinery and by turnover, and export turnover is not counted for classification.
